Eunice Olumide on Garrows Law!!!!!

I absolutely love to take on new challenges and this is something that acting does so well.  My most recent feature as 'the slave girl' in Garrow's Law has to have been one of thee most remarkable roles I have ever played. Garrow’s Law is a legal drama inspired by the life of 18^th century barrister William Garrow and his extraordinary encounters as a pioneer at that time. 

In the 21st century it is not often that we look back at the past and I have to admit that this experience meant I was confronted with many issues of the past and indeed colonialism and its effects on the entire world.  Marcus Garvey said 'a people without the history of their pas knowledge and culture is like a tree without roots' which is something that I truly believe, no matter what your background, culture or even religion!  I also believe that if we don't learn from the past it is easy to make the same mistakes again in the future.  A fantastic programme to be a part of and I am so grateful for the opportunity.  Below are some pictures on the series:

Eunice feature's alongside Hollyoaks actress Emma Rigby on Pramface!

Was a great day's out filming, and for once I was at home in Edinburgh filming.  What a fun day on the set of 'Pram face' a new series on the BBC, I have to confess it wasn't exactly thee most taxing acting role I have ever had hahaha ahahahah ahahah.  Love it though, look out for me playing the Stage Manger on the new series of 'Lip Service'!!!!

Eunice Olumide, John Maybury, Nigel Coates and Anthony Fawcett for Martin Creed!

I have to admit it was an honor showing of my work from my new S/S collection e:1 'monie' at the VIP and Press first exhibition by award winning Scottish Artist Martin Creed, at the fabulous Sketch during LFW.  The night was attended by a virtual who's who of celebrities including film directors, producers, photographers, designers, editor's, journalists artists, musicians, footballers, actors and models.  

The evening was absolutely amazing and to my delight I was seated next to  John Maybury,  whom I spent most of the night with ('The Edge of Love', 'The Jacket' and has worked with Tilda Swinton and Kiera Knightly), Nigel Coates (prolific artists and architech) and Anthony Fawcett (PA, best friend and autobiographer to John Lennon and Yoko Ono).  I have been dubbed Anthony's 'Muse' and have been working with him over the last year.

John loved my collection so much he took photographs of me on his i-phone, here is the wee one he took of me,  Anthony and Nigel hanging after the spectacular event!!!!

Behind the scenes at LFW 2012/2013

This LFW has been soooo much fun!  Absolutely exhausted from castings, shows and showroom work but it has been a blast.  One of the best highlights was the Vivienne Westwood show and after party which was thee best and most intoxicating, decadent affair.  I only wish I was allowed to use my camera or smart phone to take more pic's but unfortunately it was all a wee bit 'hush hush' this year.  Vivienne had her afterparty at 'The Box' Soho, and I have to admit that I cannot even begin to describe how magnificent the event was, once again no cameras' allowed!!!!!  Been hanging out with my BBF Anthony Fawcett who has dubbed me his new muse, which is terribly exciting.  Still a few day's to go, wish me luck and forgive the terrible pic of me, it's the only one I have for now.  All my love eunice aka cece xxxxxx

Top Shop and Prestonfeild Golf Course

One casting down in Glasgow, then wizzing back to Edinburgh for a fashion shoot for the Evening News!  I arrived at the location and was thoroughly impressed with the absolutely amazing view, service and of course coffee shhhhh!  I was immediately ushered in and took a seat at a real log wood fire while sipping a connoisseur delight from silver dinning wear!  

The photo shoot was fantastic and I have to say the Prestonfield golf course and private mansion house was pretty amazing too!  See the pic's in The Evening News Monday 13 February 2012 xxxxxx
